The Art in Public Places program was established as a benefit to the community by beautifying public buildings and area businesses with works of art, and as a benefit to members by giving them more opportunities to display and possibly sell their work. Currently the program has declined from numerous locations to only the exhibit at Bill Heddles Recreation Center in Delta and occasional other locations. Displayed are changed every four months and feature the work of six to twelve or more artists.
Any DFA member is welcome to exhibit. Work should be properly prepared for hanging and labeled with the artist’s name and phone number, title of the work, medium, and price. The commission to Delta Fine Arts is 20% of the sale price on any pieces sold.
